Select Specialty Hospital Birmingham is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our night-shift team in Birmingham, AL. The role involves evaluating patients, providing respiratory care, and supporting critical care patients with ACLS knowledge and NBRC credentials.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential.

• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
