Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent years of education.
• No experience required.
• BLS HealthCare Provider (AHA) certification required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) certification required.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Illinois/Missouri/Oklahoma as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and develop plan of care based on diagnosis.
• Provide respiratory care services per physician orders and department policies.
• Implement and monitor care and equipment; document patient status.
• Educate patient and family about health condition and community resources.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; follow cleaning/sterilization procedures.
• Respond to medical emergencies and rapid responses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
