Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in the health field or equivalent.
Registered to become licensed or certified as CA AOD counselor within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
Maintain a safe milieu and provide patient-centered care.
Prepare and conduct psycho-educational groups.
Participate in milieu related meetings.
Skills
Experience with addictions and/or co-occurring disorders
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Office suite proficiency
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Certification as a chemical dependency counselor (preferred)
