Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. The RN will care for patients undergoing medical conditions or surgical procedures, assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, and educate families. This role supports a fast-paced surgical department with a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Required is graduation from an accredited nursing program with an active Missouri RN license; BLS within 90 days of hire. Preferred is a BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active Missouri RN license required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with medical conditions or postoperative needs.
• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and change dressings as ordered.
• Keep accurate patient records and provide education to patients and families.
