Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health's 4 West unit in Nashua, NH is hiring a Registered Nurse for the night shift (7p-7a) on a full-time schedule. The role provides comprehensive care on an adolescent and adult patient population with focus on stroke, respiratory, renal and telemetry care.

You will complete competency-based orientation, collaborate with the care team, and deliver patient-centered nursing across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN).
• Registered Nurse, licensed in the state NH.
• PCU/Stepdown experience as an RN.
• Within 30 days: Basic Life Support.
• Within 90 days: Intravenous Therapy, Central Line Management.
• Within 180 days: Peritoneal Dialysis, Basic Rhythm Interpretation/Telemetry Monitoring, Telestroke Procedure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implements priority-based nursing care and establish goals to meet the patient's needs.
• Integrate patient values, best practice, and evidence into patient care.
• Engage patients and/or families in the care delivery.
• Function competently within own scope of practice.
• Utilize a communication style/practice to meet the needs of the team and/or the situation.
