Position: 36 hours per week with midnight 12-hour shifts; every other weekend and holiday rotations. Benefits: full-time package. Education: BSN preferred; current Michigan RN license; BCLS certification. The role emphasizes effective communication with patients, families and the health care team.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and current Michigan RN license.
• Ability to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Strong communication with patients, families and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) to care, teach, and document for patients and families.
• Communicates pertinent information to the health care team.
• Participates in solving variances from patient goals and implements solutions.
