Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high‑level patient care during the 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM shift. This PRN role requires Texas RN license, BLS certification, and at least six months of RN experience.

As part of Methodist Health System, you will deliver direct and indirect care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and support a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
• Provides direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Communicates with team, patients, and family members and evaluates understanding of information.
• Provides a safe and therapeutic environment and administers medications and IV therapies.
• Other duties as assigned.
