Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care in our 12x3 night shift. You will perform nursing care using the nursing process, supervise other team members, and contribute to a patient-centered environment in a leading trauma center.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS, and BSN preferred, with strong communication and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Additional certifications as required by department.
• Work experience: Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
• Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and openly with patients and families.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain age/developmentally appropriate care per unit standards.
• Adhere to hospital standards, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
• administer medications and IV therapies accurately and safely.
• Participate in professional growth and continuous quality improvement.
