Job summary

IHA is seeking an on-site Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time, 12-hour night shift position in Michigan. The role emphasizes collaboration, education, and leadership within the Nursing Care Team, delivering patient-centered care via digital platforms as needed.

The RN will plan and provide professional nursing services, adhere to state nursing standards, and participate in shared decision-making to improve outcomes and experiences for patients, staff, and the community.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
• Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice area.
• Minimum five (5) years of RN experience including adult condition management.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Coordinate and support the plan of care using clinical knowledge and critical thinking.
• Ensure seamless, effective transition of care across the continuum.
• Monitor quality metrics and ensure complete documentation in the patient record.
• Perform roles as mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.
