Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care based on the nursing process. You will work with a care team to deliver safe, effective patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Position requires a BSN preferred, RN licensure in SC or a compact state, and BLS certification. Minimum one year of RN experience; ICU experience is preferred. Schedule includes 3–12 hour night shifts (7:30 PM–8:00 AM) with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum training and education as described: RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse is required.
• At least 1 year of ICU experience preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state; BLS certification required.
