Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a professional nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care on the night shift within multiple ER/acute care settings. You will develop care plans, collaborate with inter-professional teams, educate patients and families, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Requirements include graduate of an accredited nursing program, PA RN license, two years ICU experience preferred, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• PA RN license to practice
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; Critical Care/ICU preferred
• Ability to convey respect and collaborate with patients and families
• Strong communication and collaboration with inter-professional teams
• Demonstrates commitment to patient safety and quality of care

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver patient-centered care
• Integrates evidence-based practice and clinical expertise in care delivery
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments and post-discharge care
• Uses information systems to document and monitor patient data
• Works within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, coordinated care
• Participates in safety and quality improvement activities
