Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts. This full-time opportunity offers 36 hours per week, full benefits, and potential overtime.

Candidates must be a Graduate of an accredited RN program, hold a Florida license, and have BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred or obtainable within three months. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and commitment to safe practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• BLS (current upon hire).
• ACLS, PALS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within three months of employment).
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Performs NIHSS assessment and stroke care as part of the care plan.
• Maintains currency in stroke knowledge with ongoing training.
