Job summary

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety and medication administration, and participating in professional development and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree; 1–3 years minimum experience in the area applying for preferred.
• Current NYS Nursing license; BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications preferred.
• On-call required for OR, PACU, and Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients within the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Integrate patient safety and medication management in direct care.
• Adhere to communication standards and participate in care planning and education.
• Participate in department and hospital-wide activities to improve processes and outcomes.
