Job summary

Boca Recovery Center in Springfield, MA is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to support clients’ medical needs during recovery. This on-site role emphasizes infection control, patient assessments, and accurate medical documentation in a structured environment.

The ideal candidate is a MA-licensed RN with CPR certification and experience in addiction or psychiatric care. Night shifts (7pm–7am) require flexibility, with opportunities for professional development and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in MA with active licensure.
• Current CPR certification maintained throughout employment.
• Experience in substance abuse or psychiatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure infection control practices and reporting procedures are in place.
• Conduct urinalysis toxicology data analysis.
• Enter orders for all clients in the EMR as instructed.
• Triage medical issues and perform patient assessments.
• Document client symptoms and health-related information in EMR.
• Lead HIV/Hepatitis and Nutrition groups and document outcomes.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and maintain logs of activities.
