Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln in Mattoon, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 East unit on the night shift (7pm-7:30am). The RN provides clinical leadership, coordinates care, and delivers individualized patient care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing data, planning and implementing care, documenting care activities, and collaborating with the care team. ADN required with ARNP/CRNA considerations, ACLS and BLS certifications within 90 days of hire;

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and issues.
• Assesses patients' conditions through observation and data input.
• Coordinates bed and patient care assignments during shift.
• Documents and reports care delivered to physicians and team members.
• Provides leadership to the care team during the shift.
• Promotes learning through unit education and skills development.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and reports to physicians.
• Implements care plans and safeguards in alignment with safety standards.
• Engages in ongoing knowledge building and teaching for patient care.
