Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta for full-time night shifts (36 hours/week, 3/12s). You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of the patient care team in a compassionate, professional environment.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, collaboration with providers, performance improvement, and ongoing professional growth while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required (Instructor or Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS).
• RN license (Single State) or RN-COMPACT multi-state license.
• Experience with direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate the patient's condition and care plan.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver planned care and ensure patient safety.
• Support patient advocacy and family education.
• Contribute to performance improvement and professional growth.
• Mentor other nurses and support shared governance.
