Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a professional nurse to lead a unit, coordinate patient care, and support clinical practice standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate care aligned with patient preferences and cultural considerations.

You will assist in staffing, documentation, and ongoing professional development, while contributing to Magnet and Shared Governance initiatives. Work shift is the night shift in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma required from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 3 years as an RN in an acute care setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care practices.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluates patient needs and recommends care based on those needs.
• Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager.
• Ensures quality patient care and supports clinical practice improvements.
• Participates in Magnet and Shared Governance activities.
