Experience with EPIC and IMPAX is preferred. This role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification within 90 days of hire, with BCLS and KBMIRT active.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in department, surgery, or bedside.
• Produce high-quality images for radiologist review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete quality control on equipment.
• Verify patient identity and orders, follow departmental protocols and safety standards.
• Assist radiologists as needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting.

Under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader and with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside. This role requires producing high-quality images for radiologist review, maintaining accurate records, and completing quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and orders, adhering to departmental protocols, monitoring patient safety throughout exams, and applying radiation protection measures. The candidate will assist radiologists when needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively.
