Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America seeks a Factory Quality Technician in Allentown, PA, to support the night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will ensure compliance with Nestlé and regulatory guidelines for safe pet food production, performing physical and sensory tests, and detaining non-conforming products.

You will maintain lab equipment, lead corrective actions for continuous improvement, and help prepare for audits while collaborating with lab staff to meet factory objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and sensory tests on finished products accurately and precisely.
• Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including maintenance, cleaning, and calibration.
• Work collaboratively with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives.
• Assist in preparation for compliance audits.
