Job summary

Meyer Tool in Erlanger, KY is seeking an Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts, including production and prototype hardware. Cross training across inspection areas will be required, with strict adherence to AS9100 quality standards.

You will inspect using micrometers, calipers, and a vision system, report quality issues to supervision, and support audits and compliance projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience reading technical documentation and specs.
• Knowledge of precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers).
• Must meet ITAR definition of US Person.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production and prototype hardware per prescribed specs.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts.
• Conduct airflow inspection and vision-system inspections.
• Inform supervisor of quality issues and concerns.
• Assist audits and compliance projects as needed.
• Cross-train in multiple inspection areas.
• Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards.
