Job summary

PL Developments, a leading manufacturer and distributor of OTC pharmaceutical products, seeks an Electrolyte QA Inspector for on-site, full-time employment in Piedmont, SC. The role focuses on ensuring product quality from bottling through packaging, with emphasis on content accuracy, labeling, batch numbers, and expiry dates, aligned to customer specs and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experiences in QA roles preferred.
• Proficient oral and written English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cGMP procedures.
• Basic understanding of food safety.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for QA tasks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Basic computer skills (data entry, records).

Responsibilities

• Inspect initial product on bottling for content, labels, batch numbers, expiry, and packaging specs.
• Verify components during compounding for food safety adherence.
• Report discrepancies to Line Leader, Supervisor, or QA Director.
• Perform in-process QA checks, documentation, GMP compliance.
• Review production logs following Good Documentation Practices.
• Verify line clearances and proper documentation.
• Perform daily scale verification.
• Inspect and verify production kits before use (components, labels, containers).
• Foster quality culture and continuous improvement; uphold regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
