Job summary

Outcome HC is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (Psych) for night shift to join our Berkeley Heights facility in New Jersey. The RN will assess, document, distribute medications and supervise staff under the DON’s supervision, contributing to comprehensive care plans and coordinated treatment strategies.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed in New Jersey (NJ RN).
• Current CPR certification or certified within 90 days of hire.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing and mental health assessments.
• Develop care plans and medical/psychiatric treatment plans for clients.
• Monitor PO intake and escalate to dietitian and physician when necessary.
• Obtain vitals and recognize abnormalities.
• Observe and report behavioral changes.
• Provide nursing/psychiatric education to clients.
