Genesee Health System (GHS) seeks a Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join the Behavioral Health Urgent Care team for a part-time night shift in Flint, MI. Training starts daytime hours with three 8-hour shifts per week, followed by two 12-hour night shifts, totaling 24 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and MI license as PA or dual-certified NP.
• Must hold MI Controlled Substance License and DEA license; MCCPA/ANCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, diagnoses and ongoing assessments for individuals with mental illness or developmental disabilities.
• Provide medication management and psycho-educational support in collaboration with medical staff.
• Identify patient needs, create treatment plans and referrals, and monitor progress.
