Job summary

Deckorators is expanding its Buffalo flagship facility and seeks a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead the night crew, ensure safe operations, and drive high-quality output. You will serve as the primary on-shift resource and lay the groundwork for launch and growth phases with a focus on structured routines and team development.

You will oversee troubleshooting, coaching, and real-time decision-making, while coordinating with day leadership to meet production targets and uphold

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibility.
• Experience supervising teams on night shift or in self-directed environments preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, standard work, and safety requirements.
• Strong time management, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting cross-shift collaboration.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shift schedule as operations scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead night shift operators to achieve production and quality objectives.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting support and decision-making.
• Ensure safety is prioritized in all tasks, audits, and machine operation.
• Maintain communication logs and effective shift handoff with day leadership.
• Develop team performance through feedback, coaching, and ongoing skills training.
• Schedule and assign work to ensure balanced workloads and production coverage.
• Track shift performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong housekeeping standards and proper material handling.
• Support startup activities, including SOP development and system improvements.
