Job summary

Conagra Brands in Darien, Wisconsin, is seeking qualified individuals for a Production Specialist role in the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM). The on-site position reports to Production Supervisors at one of Conagra's largest facilities with over 800 employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely.

• Reliable and consistent attendance with strong attention to duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of production schedules and learn to read and follow schedule instructions.
• Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements and specifications.
• Monitor auto-filled bags or trays for required fill weight, back seal, end seal, label placement, date code, and label accuracy.
• Report deviations from product requirements to operators or supervisors. Ensure cases enter the case sealer correctly.
• Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes, flaws, extraneous material, or discoloration.
• Stop production and report any serious deviation from requirements or equipment malfunction.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Assist operators with start-up, production, changeover, and shutdown activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
