Job summary

Huntsman in Ringwood, IL is seeking a Production Operator for the night shift in the Polyurethanes Division. You will operate mixing/blending, granulation, bagging, and extrusion equipment, verify batch materials, and ensure proper labeling of finished goods.

You will perform quality control tests, document results, wear PPE, and maintain a clean, safe production area. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years in manufacturing, with strong data entry and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment (mixing/blending, granulation, bagging, extrusion).
  • Verify materials per batch documentation and label finished goods correctly.
  • Store and transfer materials with or without powered equipment.
  • Perform quality control tests and adjust processes as needed.
  • Wear required PPE and maintain clean, safe work areas.
  • Document production information per paperwork instructions and follow EH&S standards.
