Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Lead and coordinate night shift quarry production activities to achieve safe, efficient, and consistent operations.* Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing safe work practices, identifying hazards, and supporting compliance with site procedures.* Monitor crushers, screens, conveyors, and other production equipment to maintain product quality and maximize operational performance.* Coordinate work assignments and provide hands-on guidance to team members to meet production priorities and daily goals.* Partner with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. **What Are We Looking For** * Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and effectively communicate with team members in a production or industrial environment.* Working knowledge of aggregate production, crushing, screening, conveying, or similar heavy industrial operations.* Strong commitment to safety with the ability to recognize hazards, reinforce safe work practices, and support established procedures.* Ability to prioritize work, solve operational problems, make sound decisions, and respond effectively to changing production needs.* Ability to work a night shift schedule and perform the essential functions of the position in a quarry and heavy industrial environment. **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer background check, post-offer pre-employment physical examination, and drug screen. **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **Physical Demands** * Ability to frequently stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and navigate uneven or elevated surfaces throughout the shift.* Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed to support production activities.* Ability to safely access and navigate quarry and plant equipment, including climbing onto and around crushers, screens, conveyors, and other production equipment for inspections and operational support.* Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and coordination, including using hand tools, operating controls, and handling materials or equipment.* Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform physical job duties for extended periods in an active quarry and production environment. **What We Offer** * Starting Pay $28.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions.* Highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits Health Saving Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance + Paid Bonding Leave, 10 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave, and 10 Paid Holidays
