Job summary

Robin Industries in Ohio is seeking a Third Shift Production Group Leader to provide leadership and support for the production team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will train operators in molding techniques, monitor material usage, set up startup molds, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and help relieve operators during breaks while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising manufacturing teams is preferred.
• Good record keeping and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Record, log and maintain records per work instructions and prepare reports.
• Instruct operators in molding techniques, procedures, product and quality requirements.
• Provide support to operators to maintain efficiency and scrap standards; ensure materials are supplied.
• Set up startup molds to established parameters; change cavities and inserts as needed.
• Monitor rubber press material usage; coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and minor repairs.
• Assist engineering to improve techniques, molds and processes; relieve press operators during breaks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow prescribed safety rules.
