Job summary

Solestial, Inc. seeks a Process Technician (Night Shift) to help produce ultra-thin solar cells in a clean room environment, using R&D equipment and assisting with transferring processes to large-scale manufacturing.

You will operate tools, monitor alarms, perform basic QC, and collaborate with engineers on problem solving. The role offers a competitive compensation package and full benefits including equity.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED; AS degree or STEM cert preferred.
• Able to work night shifts and in clean room environments.
• Strong problem-solving and verbal communication required.
• Willingness to operate and maintain R&D/manufacturing equipment safely.
• Experience in solar cell or electronics manufacturing is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools safely to meet production orders per supervisor.
• Perform procedures per training and documented procedures.
• Monitor equipment alarms and process data.
• Characterize partially processed solar cells (Sinton lifetime, photoluminescence).
• Collaborate with engineers on problem solving.
• Maintain clean work environment and follow safety requirements.
• Work in an R&D manufacturing environment often without direct supervision.
