Job summary

The Process Operator at IFF monitors and operates low hazard equipment and facilities, ensuring quality and conformance with SOPs. The role emphasizes safety, basic maintenance, and working on the DIMODAN/PANODAN process with potential SAP and packaging experience.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to follow instructions, and strong communication. Night shift from 1800 to 0600 is required; occasional outdoor/indoor condition work is expected.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work independently and comply with safety standards.
Willing to maintain attendance and punctuality.
Basic computer skills.
Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
Able to stand for extended periods (≈95% of the day).
Able to climb stairs and vertical ladders frequently.
Willing to wear respirator and PPE.
Able to work outdoors and indoors in various conditions.
Willing to work night shift (18:00–06:00).
Two-year technical degree (preferred).
Spray and packaging experience (preferred).
Knowledge of formulation processes (preferred).
Previous food plant experience (preferred).
Mechanical aptitude (preferred).

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operating and maintaining continuous performance of the DIMODAN/PANODAN system through the use of the computer to operate and control the continuous process.
Take samples; make blends, take/record/report accurate measurements and counts for inventory control.
Maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the DIMODAN and PANODAN plants.
SAP, Spray and packaging experience and knowledge of formulation process will be beneficial.
