Job summary

Wisconsin Converting, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Print Set Up Technician to help produce high-quality printed products in a fast-paced facility in Green Bay, WI. Shift hours are evenings into early mornings, with a four-day workweek and a $2/hour night differential.

You will set up printing plates, mix inks, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot issues to keep production moving. Training is provided; previous print experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing or machine experience is a plus and will be trained.
• Experience with print or color matching (X-Rite) is a bonus.

Starting at $20/hr based on experience

Earn +$2/hour shift differential

Looking for a hands-on role where you can see the results of your work every day? As aPrint Set Up Technician, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality printed products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. No two days are the same—you’ll be working with color, equipment, and a team that keeps production moving.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and mount printing plates for production runs
• Mix and adjust inks to match colors accurately
• Perform quality checks to meet customer standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production running smoothly
• Follow safety procedures when working with equipment and materials
• Keep a clean work space, assistant production in maintaining cleanliness of machines and work area
• Work with your team to hit daily production goals
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail (especially with color and quality)
• Team player with a good work ethic
• Ability to stay organized and work in a fast-paced setting
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing or machine experience is a plus—but we will train the right person!
• Experience with print or color matching (X-Rite) is a bonus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout your shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working with your hands
• Good vision, including color recognition

Work Environment

You’ll be working in a production facility around machinery, inks, and moving equipment. It can be loud at times, and PPE is required—but you’ll be part of a team that values safety and gets the job done.
