Job summary

FedEx Office is seeking a Production Operator in Memphis to perform a variety of manufacturing tasks in the Digital and Signs & Graphics center. Responsibilities include operating printers and finishing equipment, setting up and maintaining machinery, and delivering quality work with lean principles.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Prior experience in FXO products or a commercial print environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication.
• 6+ months of related experience preferred.
• FXO products & services experience preferred.
• Commercial print environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and produce Digital and Signs & Graphics print/finish orders as requested and/or directed.
• Operate Digital and Signs & Graphics printers, binding and other auxiliary equipment.
• Perform all phases of equipment set-up, operation and routine maintenance.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, to include cleaning and repairing.
• Provide customer service, including problem solving, to satisfy needs with minimal supervision.
• Produce work in accordance with LEAN manufacturing principles to ensure Done Right On Time quality.
• Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing center functions.
• Maintain work area to 5S standards.
• All other duties as needed or required.
