Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Basic math ability to read ruler and calculate label dimensions.
• Operate equipment to meet production standards.
• Understand verbal and written work orders.
• Communicate professionally with team.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed instructions from job orders and correct errors.
• Set up/adjust press for job runs to specifications.
• Monitor product quality during runs and correct issues.
• Monitor equipment for mechanical problems and refer to maintenance when needed.
• Initiate startup and run of jobs per production schedule.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Meet standards for output, waste and spoilage.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep the workspace clean.
• Complete logs and paperwork accurately.
