Job summary

Aggreko is hiring a Technician 1 Power Night Shift based in Odessa, TX. The role covers field service, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators and electrical equipment, with night shift hours and potential overtime.

You will work from our Midland, TX/Carlsband, NM service center, travel daily in a company vehicle, and may operate solo or with teammates at customer sites. A valid driver’s license and 4+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience working on Cummins diesel power/natural gas generators, mechanics or electricians and/or commercial, performing inspections, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading schematics.
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Based out of the Midland, TX/Carlsband, NM service center and travel daily in the company vehicle.
• Work overtime and weekends; potential for travel.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Commissioning of canopy and containerized generators.
• Troubleshoot equipment at shop and customer locations; perform repairs.
• Operate equipment at shop or on customer sites, solo or in a team.
