Job summary

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a PDU Assembly Technician for the night shift in Price, Utah. You will assemble mechanical and electrical systems for power equipment and support production in a high‑volume environment.

Responsibilities include wiring, component installation, and quality‑driven assembly. The role requires reading prints, adhering to safety rules, and teamwork to meet schedules. Night shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electrical distribution equipment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Willingness to work a night shift.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow technical assembly prints and instructions to construct mechanical assemblies, bus bar systems, and electrical equipment.
• Install and connect electrical components, including switches, PLCs, data loggers, relays, circuit breakers, and other devices used in manufacturing.
• Position, align, and adjust mechanical assemblies and electrical components for proper installation and operation.
• Perform basic electrical wiring and related assembly tasks according to specifications.
• Build and install wiring racks and electrical bus bar assemblies as required.
• Identify and correct assembly defects by repairing or replacing components and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Assess equipment for repairability, estimate repair costs, and refurbish or replace defective parts as needed.
• Ensure installations meet electrical codes, customer requirements, IE procedures, and quality standards.
