Job summary

Qualifications

• Arc and heli arc welding experience required.
• Extensive experience with 3-phase wiring, electrical controls, programmable controllers, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintains mechanical, air, electrical and hydraulic components of equipment following blueprints, wiring diagrams, specifications and using hand/power tools and welding equipment.
• Visually inspect machines to locate malfunctions and dismantle equipment to access problem areas.
• Locate damaged pipes, measure, cut, thread, and install new pipes; test operation after repairs; may modify computer-controlled functions.
