Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a large PICU unit/facility.
• Ability to manage ventilation and airway interventions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• BLS/ CPR certification and NBRC credentials expected.
• Detail-oriented with solid clinical data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver care in non-critical and critical areas per policies.
• Document orders and clinical information accurately in the medical record.
• Provide mechanical ventilation and monitor patient parameters.
• Maintain ventilator settings and respond to changes.
• Communicate with the healthcare team and mentor staff as needed.
• Respect patient rights and build positive relationships with families.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement projects.
• Respond to code blues and safety events in a timely manner.
