Sutter Health’s SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to collect blood specimens and process samples for laboratory testing. You will handle patient registration, order entry, and post-analytic tasks such as reporting and filing, while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You must hold a California CPT I or II license and have a HS Diploma or GED. This per diem/casual role requires ability to work nights, with flexible days and shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED prior to start date.
• CA Licensed CPT I or II.
• Knowledge of local/state/federal regulations to protect patient privacy and safety.

Responsabilités

• Collects and processes specimens for laboratory testing.
• Receives, sorts and accessions specimens to proper workflow.
• Performs patient registration and/or test order entry tasks in the system.
