Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Wichita, KS. The role involves drawing blood via venipuncture and capillary methods, collecting specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry and patient service. The position supports a Monday–Friday night schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, billing input, and travel to other sites as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with phlebotomy certification or experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Travel to additional sites as needed and provide excellent patient service.
