Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide timely delivery of medications and supplies to long-term care facilities and patients’ homes on a nightly route. This role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance while supporting a busy healthcare team.

Not requiring prior professional driving experience, the position welcomes applicants with relevant driving history and a willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Geographical knowledge of service area.
• Flexibility required Nights and Weekends.
• Current, valid driver's license in the state for the vehicle's operation.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long term care facilities or patients' homes.
• Load products/materials.
• Maintain vehicle and alert management for maintenance issues.
• Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Maintain highest professional and ethical standards.
• Follow HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality.
