Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Night Shift Rehabilitation RN (0.9 FTE) to join our Pediatric Rehabilitation team in Phoenix. This role blends inpatient rehabilitation nursing with pediatric medical-surgical care, enabling growth in a collaborative, rewarding environment.

The 12-bed CARF-accredited unit treats brain injuries and other complex pediatric conditions. Candidates with pediatric rehab experience or willingness to transition from adult to pediatric care are

Qualifications

Arizona RN license or eligible for licensure.
Experience with neurological or rehabilitation patients is valued.
Pediatric or rehabilitation nursing experience preferred; strong teamwork.
CARF-certified rehab program experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments across age ranges and conditions per unit guidelines.
Monitor and document patient progress; communicate with care teams and families.
Ensure medication administration and documentation meet standards.
Provide unit orientation and support to patients and families.
Supervise assigned staff and mentor new employees and students.
Participate in rounds and care conferences to coordinate plans.
Foster a learning environment with patient-centered care.
Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.
