Adena Health System is seeking a Patient Companion for the Behavioral Health nights, part-time 60% with 6:00 PM–6:30 AM shifts and every third weekend. The role centers on attentive patient observation to ensure safety and therapeutic engagement within the Float Pool.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification course must be completed prior to working.
• Code Violet training biannually.
• Preferred CNA certification.

Responsabilités

• Observe assigned patients to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Provide continuous direct bedside observation to prevent falls or injury.
• Monitor verbal and behavioral cues related to self-harm or harming others.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow supervision requirements.
