Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• Related field experience: 1 year.
• OC credentials: 1 of the following certifications is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient care tasks safely and efficiently as delegated by licensed nursing staff.
• Documents patient care and admissions/discharges per department guidelines.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge under supervision.
• Communicates patient and family information to care team to tailor the plan of care.
• Acts as a courier between departments to meet daily unit needs.
• May perform clerical duties such as receptionist duties and supply management.
• Ensures patient supplies and equipment are organized, clean, and stocked.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
