Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in Orlando, FL. This role performs treatments and patient care, ensuring safety and quality while communicating with patients and families.

Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS, and CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certifications; 1+ PCT experience preferred. Night shifts and on-site work at East Rollins St in Orlando, FL are included.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• 1+ applicable PCT experience preferred, bedside patient care in an acute care unit is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy.
