Sanford Health in Neillsville, WI is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance during night shifts. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will record vitals, assist with activities of daily living, and help prepare treatment areas and equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (GED accepted), knowledge of medical terminology, CNA preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills to support safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred; maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Administer basic health care and medical treatments.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, meals, etc.).
• Prepare patient treatment areas and equipment; dispose of biomedical waste as required.
• Perform clerical tasks related to scheduling and documenting patient care.
• Provide one-on-one care to patients when necessary for safe care.
