Job summary
Self Regional Edgefield County Hospital in Edgefield, SC seeks a Patient Care Technician for the third shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), including every other weekend, to support nursing teams in caring for critically ill patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, and meet one of the listed qualifications: SC Nurse Aide Certification, RN/LPN fundamentals, Surg Tech/EMT courses, a 2-year Health Science Technology Program, or a Patient
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- SC Nurse Aide Certification or equivalent pathways listed in ad.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Under RN supervision, provides patient care for critically ill patients.
- Communicates patient care needs and resolves work-related issues.
- Fulfills additional duties as assigned by Nurse Manager or Department Director.
