Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the night shift to join our collaborative nursing team. You will assist with vital signs, mobility, and daily personal care, support RNs in carrying out care plans, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will help with supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and safety, communicate kindly with patients and families, and contribute to our mission of

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• CNA or PCT certification peferred
• 1+ years of hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
