Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Northern Kentucky is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to world-class inpatient post-ICU care. As a Patient Care Tech (PCT) you will support vulnerable patients with compassionate, expert assistance during their recovery and daily activities in a high-stakes setting.

The role offers a PRN/Per Diem schedule with 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) at Fort Thomas, KY, with compensation of $22.44 per hour plus shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a patient care tech or related field (e.g., medical assistant, RN student).
• BLS certification due within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less products, perform oral hygiene, feed and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transfers to stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
