Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support bedside patient care in Turnersville, NJ. The role involves performing nursing procedures, maintaining patient documentation, and assisting physicians with examinations and tests, under the Nurse Manager's supervision.

The position requires a High School Diploma and CPR-BLS certification; acute care experience is preferred, and a nursing assistant certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR-BLS through AHA or Red Cross is required or preferred.
• One year of acute care inpatient experience is preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned nursing procedures for patient comfort and well-being.
• Maintains documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets.
• Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
• Provides direct bedside care with tasks including respiratory and rehabilitation services and phlebotomy.
