Job summary

Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to oversee a designated clinical area, organize patient care, assign staff to meet patient needs, and lead performance improvement projects.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse licensed in Mississippi, with NLN nursing education, ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, de-escalation training, and at least 2 years of RN experience; 7PM-7AM shift and collaboration with the Patient Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Mississippi RN license required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications or eligible for certification.
• De-escalation training completed or to be completed within 90 days of orientation.
• Two years’ RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated clinical area and organize patient care assignments.
• Lead performance improvement projects and problem solve with staff.
• Coordinate nursing and clerical staff under the Patient Care Manager.
